AkzoNobel’s CERAM-A-STAR 1050 and TRINAR products deliver long lasting performance best suited for metal roofing and sidewall applications in agricultural, residential, commercial, and institutional projects. The durability and longevity of these coating systems can be attributed to our full system approach.
Our systems start with primer, a polyester hybrid, that offers superior UV resistance and enhances the system’s overall longevity and protection. When paired with our best-in class SMP and PVDF topcoats, your project is shielded by a system designed for excellent intercoat adhesion and long-term protection. The quality and performance of the coating are driven by the high-caliber materials we carefully select in our formulations. This includes resins that provide strength and flexibility, and advanced pigmentation for enhanced color retention and Cool Chemistry® properties.
The full system performance is evaluated through extensive laboratory tests, and our Global Weathering Program to ultimately deliver reliable, top-tier performance for any project backed by industry leading warranties.
TRINAR ULTRA
Available in a stunning array of colors and glosses, our TRINAR PVDF System, is a smooth finish topcoat that delivers beauty and protection, ideal for a wide range of architectural features, such as metal roofing, wall panels, siding, canopies and fascia.
CERAM-A-STAR
Our industry leading SMP, CERAM-A-STAR 1050, offers complementary color palettes and gloss levels for roofing and siding. Textured finishes are available with FROST, perfect for metal roofing. Lap siding and board and batten siding can achieve an upgraded look with our CERAM-A-STAR Expressions, a textured print product that delivers authentic wood and stone like textures and prints.
